automated tests behind the pipeline

To the penny

backtest vs. a real Kentucky filing

In production

filing for a paying carrier · read the case study

What you get

Three deliverables, every quarter.

Output is shaped for both the portal and your owner-operators — not just a single PDF.

State-portal-ready output

CDTFA, KY DOR, generic — your return comes back in the exact CSV layout your state expects. KY and VA surcharge lines are added automatically; Oregon weight-mile miles are flagged at $0 IFTA rate.

Per-truck reconciliation

Every truck gets its own Excel showing how its miles and fuel contributed to the fleet filing — from one truck to a hundred. Sums reconcile to the fleet total within $5 rounding drift.

AI review before you file

An agent reads the return, compares it to your historical pattern, and writes a plain-English checklist of issues, filing reminders, and next steps. Catches missing surcharges, MPG anomalies, and audit-bait fuel patterns.

How it works

From raw files to a filed return.

The pipeline runs end-to-end in minutes; the AI review takes seconds.

01

Send your raw files

Excel, CSV, or PDF — whatever your fuel-card vendor and mileage tracker exports. TA, Pilot, EDS, Relay, Samsara, ELD reports — the pipeline reads them all.

02

We run the pipeline

CDTFA-exact math: integer gallons, fleet MPG rounded to 2 decimals before per-state calc, round-half-up tax. Current rates pulled from iftach.org. Validation checks every step.

03

AI agent reviews the return

You receive a portal-ready CSV, one Excel per truck, and a Markdown review note with concrete next steps. Costs pennies in compute per quarter.

Pricing

Simple, agreed up front.

No subscriptions and no per-truck surprise fees — a flat quarterly quote you approve before anything is filed.

First quarter free

for new carriers · no credit card

  • After that, a flat per-quarter rate quoted for your fleet size — agreed in writing before the next filing.
  • No lock-in: files handed over every quarter, cancel any time.
FAQ

Questions carriers ask before sending files.

What files do I need to send?

Mileage by state (ELD or trip-sheet export) and fuel purchases (receipts, card statements, or a fuel-card CSV). Any common format works — spreadsheets, CSVs, or PDFs. If something is missing, I tell you exactly what to pull and from where.

Which states and provinces do you cover?

All 48 IFTA member states and the 10 Canadian member provinces, at the current quarter's official tax rates. Split-rate quarters and surcharge jurisdictions are handled automatically.

How does the AI review actually work?

The math is never done by AI — a deterministic pipeline computes the return. A separate AI agent then reviews the result the way a careful bookkeeper would: it checks MPG plausibility, missing fuel states, jurisdiction anomalies, and quarter-over-quarter jumps, and writes a plain-English note about anything worth a second look.

When are IFTA filings due?

The last day of the month after each quarter ends: Q1 is due April 30, Q2 July 31, Q3 October 31, and Q4 January 31. Send files at least a week before the deadline for a comfortable turnaround.

Is my data safe?

Files are used only to prepare your return, processed on infrastructure I run, and never sold or shared. You can request deletion of your source files after each quarter is filed.

What if the numbers don't reconcile?

That's the point of the review. If per-truck totals don't add up to fleet totals, or a state shows miles with no fuel, you get a written flag explaining the discrepancy and what to check — before anything is filed.
